This years senior night was one to remember. Brett Culhane lead the Chargers in scoring with 12 goals. Dwight Stapleton had the other goal. 12 Goals in a single game breaks TJ Chotkowski’s record of 11 goals, set last year against Great Mills.

Rhoda Alaban-tafon – Glen Burnie High School Rhoda ran a blazing 58.45 400 meter dash that broke the school record that had been standing since 2004!

Bethany Wharton – Springbrook High School: Bethany set the school’s career softball strikeout record this spring.  Here’s the Pressbox post from a 15 strikeout perfect game she threw:

Senior Bethany Wharton threw 15 strikeouts en route to a five inning perfect game against Watkins Mill! No Wolverine reached base or even put the ball in play. It was a dominating performance and Springbrook got the win, 14–0.

Ethan Binnix – Broadneck High School: Ethan Binnix broke the school record to win the 400m dash and Paul Squires out-leaned his rival at the finish line in winning the 3200m run to pace the Bruins to an outstanding team finish.  Ethan and Paul joined Tony Tuckfield and Brady Morrissey on the 1600m relay team that ran a school record time of 3:26.82.
