Game Recap
The JV Wildcats took an early lead against the North County Knights in the first inning. The score was tied by the Knights in the second and remained 3 all until the fourth inning.
Emily Shaeffer pitched all 6 innings for the Wildcats. Shaeffer gave up 17 hits, walked 6, and struck out 1.
Annah Krol, leadoff for Arundel started off Wildcat bats with a single in the first inning. Mariah Melendez followed with a single of her own. Khalea Warner hit for a pop up that was caught by first base. Skylar Morley’s first at bat resulted in double to score Krol. Sammy King hitting in the fourth spot hit for a triple to score Morley and Melendez.
Annah Krol went 2 for 3 at the plate with singles. Sammy King also went 2 for 3 with a triple and a single.
